Book of Love (2022) is an Amazon Original romantic comedy that is set in the spicy and gorgeous Mexico. The plot follows an unsuccessful aspiring writer from England named Henry whose novel does not sell - like at all. Out of nowhere, the frustrated writer gets the news that his novel is suddenly selling in Mexico and it is a big hit. His publicist is so excited about this possibility for an international career, so she sends him abroad to Mexico. He starts his tour off a little bit dazed and confused, but he soon learns why his novel was suddenly a success in Mexico. He learns a local translator named Maria rewrote his book as a steamy romance novel during her translation. Uh oh! Henry is pissed off because this is not the book he wrote and now he has to tour with Maria because she can work as his translator. The tension is off the hook, but eventually, their anger melts and makes way for love. Isn't that always the way? Things get lost in translation, but red hot lust never does. Speaking of lust, let's take about our leading man. Sam Claflin plays the hunky Henry who goes shirtless in two scenes to show off his amazing body. We do not need a translation to understand what Sam is trying to say with those sculpted six-pack abs: he is sexy. That's the message here right? No need to translate. No need to even speak.
