I Care a Lot (2021)

Gone Girl's Rosamund Pike is up to her old nefarious tricks in the Netflix film I Care a Lot (2021)! The steely Brit plays Marla, a con woman who makes her living by bilking old people placed in her care for all of their money and then dumping them in a nursing home where no one can find them. Thanks to a network of dubious lawyers and judges all lining up to take their fair share of a cut, Marla is able to work outside the law with almost total impunity! All of that changes when she takes conservatorship of Jennifer (Dianne Wiest), a dementia-riddled woman with a safety deposit box full of diamonds. Thinking that Jennifer is just another crazy old lady with no ties to anyone, she dumps her in a nursing home and goes about her business. Little does Marla realize that Jennifer is actually the mother of Roman (Peter Dinklage), a notorious Russian mobster who isn't terribly happy to find out his mother's been dumped in some nursing home. As Marla's plan comes unraveled, she and her lover Fran (Eiza González) make a mad dash to get away with whatever they can, even if it's only their lives. The flick's sexiest scene comes near the end of the film when, at the hour and forty-one minute mark, Peter Dinklage is discovered naked in the middle of the road by a jogger. Thankfully he's not dead, which makes us feel a lot less guilt over drinking in the sight of his cute tush! I Care a Lot... about dat ass!
