Buddy Games: Spring Awakening (2023)

Buddy Games: Spring Awakening (2023) is the sequel to the raunchy comedy Buddy Games (2019), but unfortunately it doesn't involve the guys attending a production of the hit Broadway musical Spring Awakening. Josh Duhamel directs and stars as Bobfather, the ostensible leader of a group of best buds that includes Doc (Kevin Dillon), Shelly (Dan Bakkedahl), and Bender (Nick Swardson) reunite to honor the last wishes of their now deceased friend Durfy (Dax Shepard). Determined to scatter Durfy's ashes at the bar they used to frequent together as younger men, the quartet is disappointed that their old haunt has been overrun by obnoxious college kids celebrating spring break, leading them into an ill-informed rivalry with men half their age. All manner of hijinks ensue. At least the guys are truly game, with Kevin Dillon going shirtless and Nick Swardson showing off his bare ass in one scene and a sporting a thong in another!
