Biography

D.B. Sweeney is a New York native who caught our interest by playing various roles on the big and small screens. After attending Tulane University of Louisiana and New York University, Daniel Bernard landed his big break when Francis Ford Coppola cast him as a Vietnam-era soldier in Gardens of Stone (1987) with James Caan, Anjelica Huston, and James Earl Jones. He followed that up with another war flick, Memphis Belle (1990) starring Matthew Modine, Harry Connick Jr., and Eric Stoltz. The athletic actor then took a swing at sports movies, portraying ice hockey player Doug Dorsey in The Cutting Edge (1992) and Shoeless Joe Jackson in Eight Men Out (1988). Next came the sci-fi biopic Fire in the Sky (1993) wherein Sweeney plays Travis Walton who was allegedly abducted by aliens! While being probed and prodded, the skintastic actor bulges out in his clingy boxers! D.B. then de-briefs to our delight, treating us to a sexy side view of his nude bod. Unfortunately, we don’t have a clear shot of his rump or stump to beam us up. Luckily, there’s skin to see in The Weekend (1999). The film features Jared Harris, Deborah Kara Unger, and Sweeney’s naked T&A! Through the years, the busy babe lent his alluring presence to the boob tube via Strange Luck (1995–1996), C-16 (1997-1998), Life as We Know It (2004-2005), Two and a Half Men (2013-2014), and B Positive (2021). Best of all is D.B.’s topless turn in the television Western Lonesome Dove (1989). Yee haw!
