At the age of nine, Rick Schroder (then credited as Ricky Schroder) won the Golden Globe award for Best New Male Star of the Year in a Motion Picture for his debut film, The Champ (1979). He is the youngest Golden Globe champ of all time. Suffice it to say, that film made Ricky a hot commodity, as he spent the remaining years of his childhood in movies like The Last Flight of Noah's Ark (1980), The Earthling (1980), Little Lord Fauntleroy (1980), Something So Right (1982), Two Kinds of Love (1983), Broadway Danny Rose (1984), and A Reason to Live (1985) and TV shows like The CBS Festival of Lively Arts for Young People, Faerie Tale Theatre, and the popular sitcom Silver Spoons. With his roles in the miniseries Lonesome Dove and its sequel Return to Lonesome Dove, Ricky (now Rick) attempted to relaunch his career as an adult actor, but it was his nudie flicks that really kicked things into high gear. As Danny Sorenson on Fox's police procedural NYPD Blue, Rick reveals his tushy thrice and it is quite nice, which goes to show you can’t put a price on a man in (or out of) uniform. If you think that's hot, well, you’ve never been to Texas. That is, you haven’t seen Rick's rear when he goes skinny dipping in the made-for-TV western Texas (1994).
