Das Trio (1998)

The romantic comedy Das Trio (1998) follows Zobel (Götz George) and Karl (Christian Redl), an aging gay couple that have been in a relationship for quite some time. The dudes live with Zobel’s daughter Lizzi (Jeanette Hain) in a mobile home, and with her help, they become a trio of thieves that make a living off of pickpocketing people. The two gays and a tomboy trio make a great team, but after a tragic accident during one of their jobs, Karl is unable to keep up with his thieving ways. Since their schemes depend on three people working in tandem, the loss of Karl means Zobel and Lizzi need to seek out a new partner. Leave it to Lizzi to get the job done—she quickly recruits Rudolf (Felix Eitner), the local misfit to be the third leg of their tripod. But it ends up Rudolf is bi and has a great bod! The newly added thief soon complicates the mischievous, money-stealing missions when the trio gets locked in a bizarre love triangle that Lizzi and Zobel attempt to hide from one another. Is Rudolf going to have to pick which one to be with to keep the pickpocket gig going? Forget the pockets they pick and focus on the good dick! Yes, Feliz Eitner shows his frankfurter in the shower! In an amazing scene, Felix Eitner flaunts his wiener while showering under the gaze of his male co-star. He's got the door wide open, running hot water over his hog when Götz George walks in and watches. Of course, after seeing him naked, Götz decides he's gots to have some of that, so he strips shirtless and starts making out with him! Two is company, three is a crowd, so it won't be long until the young pickpocket and reluctant homo is flamingly loud and proud! Das Trio? Das what's up!
