Do Revenge (2022)

Every couple of years, Hitchcock's classic Strangers on a Train (1951) gets reimagined for a new generation and now Gen Z has their version with the Netflix Original Film Do Revenge (2022). Set at an elite private high school, the film revolves around Drea (Camila Mendes) and Eleanor (Maya Hawke), neither of whom like one another, but who form a pact after they're both ostracized. A topless pic that Drea sent to her boyfriend got leaked to the entire school, while Eleanor is the subject of a vicious rumor attempting to out her. The two agree that, rather than directly going after the parties responsible, they will go after one another's bullies and avenge themselves without suspicion of working together. Perhaps the biggest disappointment of this flick is the total lack of nudity, though thankfully some shirtless action from both Rish Shah and Austin Abrams is a nice bonus... it's just too bad it won't give you a bonus!
