When your parents christen you with an iconic first name like Elvis, you almost have to set out on a path to stardom, celebrity, and fame. We’re not sure if the handsome actor Elvis Nolasco felt this way, but he’s certainly chosen a profession that gives some credence to the theory. For the New York City native with Dominican roots, the path to notoriety started with a small role in I Like it Like That (1994) and guest roles on police procedural dramas like, New York Undercover, Law & Order, NYPD Blue, and Third Watch. But the most important thing Elvis did in his early career was team up with famed director, Knicks fan, and hat enthusiast Spike Lee in Spike's drug pusher drama Clockers (1995). See, while Elvis moved on to lesser known movies like Rock Steady (2002) and 107 Street (2004), Elvis' biggest movies have come when he's reteamed with Spike. Elvis was Cortez in Spike's remake Oldboy (2013), which led to him landing the lead role in Spike's Kickstarter-funded flick Da Sweet Blood of Jesus (2014). Thanks to Lee’s fan-funded vampire-ish remake, we got to see every steamy inch of Elvis’ banging body, including a full frontal shot when he hopped out of a bathtub, and a butt shot when he lied on the ground without his clothes.
