Guidance (2014)

Created by the always-funny Pat Mills, Guidance (2015) is a Toronto-shot movie about a child star who committed fraud to score a job as a high school guidance counselor. His general disregard for the rules (he gives all the students shots of vodka) and tactful advice (he helps a drug dealer score a new client) makes most of his fellow teachers skeptical, but his help turns out to be surprisingly helpful for the students. He's battling rumors about his own sexuality, a potentially inappropriate relationship with his students, and a Stage 3 skin cancer diagnosis, but he still somehow holds it together while he struggles to keep his pants on. Pat Mills doesn't strip down all the way, but we do get to see him stand naked in front of a mirror with his hand over his penis. Sigh. What a tease.
