Happyish (2015)

Showtime’s dark comedy series Happyish centers around Thom Payne (Steve Coogan), a married advertising executive stuck in a depressive funk that’s triggered by the celebration of his forty-fourth birthday. The melancholic fellow dreams of writing a book, pops Prozac, and hates his new boss, a twenty-five-year-old Norwegian who loves social media and empty buzz words. Regardless of his moodiness, Thom continues to pursue happiness. We’d be more than happy to see Steve Coogan in the buff, but on season one, episode one, all get is the funny chap lounging in bed with his wife, watching porn and discussing his inability to get hard. We’ve all been there, Steve.
