Hercules (2014)

In the action adventure flick Hercules (2014), director Brett Ratner unleashes his unnecessary and updated retelling of the muscle-bound demigod portrayed by Dwayne Johnson. Adapted from the graphic novel “Hercules: The Thracian Wars”, the hunky, sword-wielding, leather-clad hero finds himself an outcast of society when he’s unjustly accused of having killed his wife and kids. Hercules finds himself working as a mercenary for gold alongside a gaggle of fellow hunky warriors. It is here where Herc is commissioned by the King of Thrace (John Hurt) to help him save his lands from the destructive hands of the megalomaniac warlord Rhesus (Tobias Santelmann) and his rowdy band of rebels. In between putting the moves on the King’s daughter Ergenia (Rebecca Ferguson) and kicking ass, The Rock manages to show off his sweaty physique while getting his wounds attended to by the doting daughter. Mr. Man would love to switch places Ms. Ferguson!
