Hilde's Journey (2004)

After making Schatten der Liebe (1992) and Das stille Haus (1995), director Christof Vorster whipped out his tender … drama Hilde’s Journey (2004). Also known as Hilde’s Reise (2004), the Swiss film stars Oliver Stokowski as Stephan Bertsch, an antique furniture repairman who longs to own his own restoration business in Zurich. Alas, he is unable to secure a loan due to his poor credit history. Needless to say, this adds to Stephan’s bleak outlook on life. But things change when he receives word that his former lover Martin Hilder passed away. As the son of a wealthy German family, Martin denied his homosexuality. As such, his family thinks he died of cancer when he really succumbed to AIDS complications. It seems as though Stephan is the sole beneficiary to Martin’s substantial fortune. Exciting times! But snagging the inheritance won’t be as easy as Stephan thinks since he must go through Martin’s controlling mother (Heidi Maria Glössner) and her attorney Dr. Braun (Peter Rühring). To further complicate matters, Stephen has to deal with Martin’s most recent ex Rex (Michael Finger), who forces him to reevaluate his life and priorities. If you make it through all of the drama, you will be rewarded with a view of Mr. Finger’s full frontal nudity as he gets out of bed. In another scene, the sexy Switzer touts his naked frame in the shower. When Michael drops his towel, we get to ogle his bare abs, ass, sack and shaft. Talk about being an overexposed actor!
