Don’t let his dandy surname fool you — Hugh Dancy is all man! He’s also the husband of actress Claire Danes. We’d love to switch places with her. But since we can’t, we’ll do the next best thing: watch Hugh on the big and small screens! After strutting his stuff as a model, Hugh headed to TV where he began acting in classic adaptations such as Madame Bovary (2000), David Copperfield (2000), and Daniel Deronda (2002). Shirtless turns in the movies Ella Enchanted (2004) and Tempo (2003) followed. The latter includes views of Dancy’s nude fanny! When the brunette babe bounced back to the boob tube to play the Earl of Essex in the miniseries Elizabeth I (2005), he earned an Emmy nomination. Next came the drama Savage Grace (2007), wherein Hugh reveals his bare chest and heterosexual preferences! By 2011, the hardworking hottie sizzled in the indie flick Marcy May Marlene and the ensemble comedy Our Idiot Brother. He then starred on the Lyceum Theatre stage in Venus in Fur (2011-2012), resulting in a Drama Desk Award nomination. Additional acclaim (and a Saturn Award for Best Actor) came when Hugh touted his naked T&A on NBC’s crime series Hannibal (2013-2015).
