Hannibal (2013-2015)

Based on the characters and elements from Thomas Harris’ novel “Red Dragon”, the NBC series Hannibal is a psychological thriller series that focuses on the budding relationship between FBI agent Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) and forensic psychiatrist Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen). You know Hannibal Lecter, right? Well, it ends up before all the "Hello Clarice" and "fava beans and a nice Chianti" creepiness he was just a brilliant psychologist that was secretly "The Chesapeake Ripper." On this NBC drama that lasted three seasons from 2013 to 2015, viewers followed young FBI Agent Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) as he tracked down serial killers. Will's a great profiler, but he's a bit emotionally unstable. When Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne) assigns to investigate the disappearances of eight young girls across Minnesota, Will becomes weighted down by the assignment. To alleviate the pressure and make sure he's doing okay upstairs, Jack decides to have Will supervised by a famed, Baltimore based psychologist named Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelson). Hannibal recognizes all the cracks in Will's psyche and tries to exploit them to keep his own killing a secret from the FBI, as well as to see if he can get Will to embrace the murderer life just like him. Critics and its core fan base loved this one, but viewership was just too low. Perhaps TV fans didn't understand how much amazing man meat there was in this one? You don't have to be a cannibal to appreciate the glutes of Richard Armitage, who strips down to show his red dragon tattoo to a shirtless and tied up Raul Esparza. It goes down to his ass, which opens up some questions about what lucky artist got to do the work, which you can think about after a super quick jerk. Jonathan Tucker ends up showing his six pack abs to Mads Mikkelsen, who is in just a pair of undies while they have a classic villain chat. Hugh Dancy's booty was bathing in the moonlight at one point, but the scene was a bit too dark. And that's his only ass shot. What a disappointing silence of the yams. But this one's all about Hannibal the Cannibal. Mads Mikkelson is mad hot as the debonair psychopath that Anthony Hopkins won an Oscar for portraying. Some people even think Mads did a better job. Not only is Mr. Mikkelson's shredded top half constantly on display, but we also get to see that cannibal's can when he's bent over naked in an animal's cage. We'd eat it! Gotta hand it to him, Hannibal had a killer body!
