Invisible City (2021-2023)

Do yourself a favor and forget everything you know about Brazilian folklore!  For us, that is a pretty easy task because we know next to nothing about Brazilian folklore!  SO this series is definitely a refreshing take on mythologies that even if you know them or heard tell of them as children, you're going to be in for a surprise with this modern retelling coming from Netflix.  In this series we follow a detective, Eric (Marco Pigossi), who discovers a rare freshwater "pink dolphin" on the beach in Rio, pretty much signaling that he is about to be shown a world he's never known before.  When he is pulled into a murder investigation, Eric soon finds himself in the middle of a world inhabited by mythical creatures, magical powers, and spirit animals!  As he dives deeper into this Invisible City, he soon begins to realize that the dolphin he found on the beach is in fact his spirit animal and he in fact half belongs to the world he discovered.  Lucky for us too, this is a Brazilian series, so there is a steady focus on bubble butts and while we get to see Marco Pigossi shirtless, it's the nude scenes from Fábio Lago and Victor Sparapane, that'll awaken your "spirit animal" the trouser snake.  Also, keep an eye out for insanely toned torso of Wesley Guimarães in an episode.  Leave it up to the Brazilians to provide us with some proper "Fantasy" content that scratches more than one "fantasy" off of our lists!
