It's Raining Men (2023)

When we get word of a French comedy drama, our Pavlovian response has us dropping our drawers, because French actors are known to be two things: A) Sexy and B) Naked. Sadly the hilarious comedy It's Raining Men - despite its title - does not rain men. We'll call this a light shower, at best. Laure Calamy stars as a woman approaching the big 5-0 who seemingly has it all. She has the job, the family, the money, the apartment, the whole shebang. However, she questions her happiness when a friend suggests she cheat on her husband for fun. Suddenly Iris is thrown into a world of online dating, dick pics - the works - and discovers that 50 ain't so bad after all, when you're getting turned out! Luckily one of her lovers is the studly Vincent Elbaz, and while he doesn't make it rain, he does pose strategically nude with just a book covering his crotch. He's a real page-turner!
