Carmen (2023)

Carmen is a surrealistic musical romance starring Vida and scream VI's Melissa Barrera as a Mexican woman escaping the cartels that have set up shop in her homeland. She risks everything by traveling north across the US border. The border patrol are one thing, but what will really get you are the gangs of anti-immigration vigilantes patrolling the border stares. Thankfully Barrera catches a break when she comes across a good guy - a former Marine played by Paul Mescal. Their steamy romance is central to this incredible movie, and their love for one another buoys them through some extremely scary and difficult situations. We're not going to feel too bad for Barrera, however. That's because she gets the pleasure of seeing her lover shirtless. Paul Mescal used to be a twunk, but Carmen proves that he's now a jock, fast on his way to becoming a daddy. He has massive muscles - we're most impressed by those huge rippling abs. This movie is ABSolutely incredible!
