If it seems like British comedian, singer, host, actor, etc. James Corden is everywhere these days, that’s only because he is everywhere these days. Most people in the United States know him primarily—if not entirely—for his work as the host of The Late Late Show on CBS, but it took him a little time and working on a whole bunch of other projects before he got to that point. He started acting while still quite young, appearing in British projects like Boyz Unlimited, Whatever Happened to Harold Smith? (1999), Teachers, and Fat Friends, and eventually landed more front and center type roles and gained a lot of notoriety along the way. He took over at The Late Late Show in 2015 but still manages to find time to return to his acting roots surprisingly often, with roles in Norm of the North (2016) and Trolls (2016), and—our favorite—the role of Roger Waters in Kill Your Friends (2015), which found Corden shirtless—a woefully rare sight—as he freaks out on a drug trip and collapses on the floor.
