Lady Chatterley's Lover (1981)

The man behind the camera on Emmanuelle (1974), Just Jaeckin got sick of making movies that were just good for jackin, so in 1981 he adapted the classic though absurdly controversial D. H. Lawrence novel of the same name, Lady Chatterley’s Lover (1981) into a legitimate, respectable film. Like the book, the movie tells the story of Clifford Chatterley (Shane Briant), a poor fellow that comes back from war wheelchair-bound and impotent. Rough. His wife, Lady Constance (Sylvia Kristel) still wants to bounce on top of some dude's little soldier, so becoming Lady Chastity isn't really an option for her. Rather than accept life in a permanent dry spell with a Vet who can't get it up, she thanks Clifford for his service and sacrifice by shacking up with the gardener, Oliver (Nicholas Clay). That's a pretty risky move considering Oliver is a dirt-poor dude who digs in the dirt all day. With every romp, she risks getting knocked up and kicked out of high society with a poor kid in tow, or getting caught and kicked to the curb to see if any dude will marry an adulterous divorcee. Is our Lady going to be sneaky enough to stay with Clifford or is she gonna slip up one day while letting the gardener slip it in? Lady, it's not cool to cheat on your war hero husband, but hey, a woman has her needs, and what the titular character in this one needs is a deep dicking.
