Some Girls (1988)

In 1978, The Rolling Stones’ album Some Girls and its subsequent tour was a massive success. Ten years later the release of the film Some Girls (1988) was a box office flop. Granted, the two have little in common (other than the same title) which may explain the failure of the latter. Also known as Happy Together 2, this romantic dramedy follows American college boy Michael (Patrick Dempsey) to Quebec where he plans on spending Christmas with his girlfriend Gabriella “Gabi” d’Arc (Jennifer Connelly). If Gabi isn’t temptation enough, her sisters Irenka (Sheila Kelley) and Simone (Ashley Greenfield) are equally alluring. As such, they tease the frustrated visitor under the nose of their sexy mother (Florinda Bolkan). Meanwhile, Gabi’s dad (Andre Gregory) hangs out in the buff. As such, we see his full frontal nudity! Did we mention this family is eccentric at best? Horny and unable to sleep, Mike wanders the d’Arc mansion where he encounters the seductive sisters, usually semi-clad, but in the case of sultry Irenka completely naked. This makes the randy guest so hot under the collar, he rushes outside and stuffs snow down his trousers! Speaking of stiffies, Gabi’s granny (Lila Kedrova) passes away during Michael’s stay. Yet he imagines knowing the old woman as a young beauty (Sanna Vraa). Or perhaps he’s actually experiencing a close encounter of the supernatural kind. Eventually, Michael returns to the States sans any d’Arc member. But not before he shares his PBJ (pecs, butt and junk). Patrick is Some Boy!
