Latter Days (2003)

Boy meets Mormon, boy falls for Mormon in Latter Days (2003), a charming romantic comedy about opposites -- in all possible ways -- attracting.

Aaron Davis (Steve Sandvoss) is a young Mormon missionary.  Christian Markelli (Wes Ramsey) is a West Hollywood waiter and professional hard partier. After Aaron and three missionaries move into an apartment across the street from Christian, Christian’s buddies bet him he can’t bed one of the holy hotties. Christian sets his crosshairs on Aaron, but soon starts to fall for the foxy follower. But, because homosexuality isn’t exactly cool cool with the Mormon church, things quickly get complicated. If you’re thinking a movie about boys loving boys would have lots of scenes of boys messing around with boys, then you’d be right. Sandvoss and Ramsey are hotties, but this flick is flush with foxy fellas, most of whom take a turn or two in front of the camera sans duds. Hallelujah!
