Like a Boss (2020)

Like a Boss follows a couple of friends who has been besties since middle school who are struggling to make it big with a cosmetics company they have build from the ground up together.  As Mia (Tiffany Haddish) and Mel (Rose Byrne) take a closer look, it begins to seem like they are out of options with their limited finances and prospects on the horizon until they get a buyout offer from Claire Luna (Salma Hayek), who just so happens to be the biggest name in the cosmetics game.  What they believe is a gift from up on high, ends up pitting the two against each other for what amounts to the controlling interest of their small little company.  Can these two best friends put business behind them and realize that their friendship is worth more than money, or is the borderline unrecognizable Salma Hayek going to take their brand they built from scratch and roll it into her evil empire?  It wouldn't be a female lead comedy if there wasn't a boy toy or two floating around and we are in luck as burnt umber toned babe, Jacob Latimore, plays Tiffany Haddish's younger man and booty call regular.  He wastes no time showing us why he was cast perfect as a booty call with his shirtless flapjack flipping breakfast dance in the early going!
