Longmire (2012-2017)

Based on the best-selling mystery novels written by Craig Johnson, the hit A&E drama Longmire centers around Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor), a dedicated, compassionate, and moody Wyoming county sheriff that is one part Dirty Harry and two parts Sherlock Holmes. When he’s not fighting crimes and dealing with static from the local Native American reservation, the brave law enforcer is quietly dealing with the recent murder of his wife. Walt may be strong, but he can’t keep his small part of The Equality State safe from crime without the help his fellow deputies Vic (Katee Sackhoff), the extremely handsome Branch (Bailey Chase), and The Ferg (Adam Bartley). Outside of the sheriff’s office, Walt has a undying friendship with the mysterious and loyal bar owner Henry Standing Bear (Lou Diamond Phillips), who helps him rebuild his personal and professional life. Wyoming is full of tumbleweeds and hardworking sheriffs, but there’s not much flesh. In season three, episode five, Derek Phillips teases his beefy upper body while being interrogated by a sheriff and embarrassed by his mother. Mr. Man is under arrest!
