Ambitions (2019)

Robin Givens and Essence Atkins may have had ambitions to spend several years starring in Ambitions (2019). Alas, the 18-part series was canceled after just one season. But even though this OWN show was short-lived, that doesn’t mean it won’t make you long in the pants! Set in Atlanta, the small screen saga centers on the rivalry between lovely legal eagle Stephanie Carlisle Lancaster (Givens) and Assistant United States Attorney Amara Hughes (Atkins). The two were besties at Spelman College but have become adversaries since graduation. The drama also includes fashion designer Bella Tru (Erica Page), real estate developer Greg Peters (Gino Anthony Pesi), and Stephanie’s handsome hubby Mayor Evan Lancaster (Brian J. White). The skintastic stud shows off his kinky side (among other things) when he appears in nothing but a leather thong and a harness in episode 4. Hey, he gets Mr. Man’s vote! Mr. White continues to flaunt his ebony chest in episode 6 which includes views of a shirtless Roderick (Karon Riley). Talk about overexposed actors! Not to be outdone, Amara’s husband Titus Hughes (Kendrick Cross) touts his toned torso in episode 7. The same can be said of security specialist Alix (Andrew Rush) in episode 16. That goes double for the aptly-named Boy Toy (Trinity Whiteside). Even though such hunks never reveal their junk, we’re impressed with their perfect pecs. In fact, these chiseled gents will definitely tempt and tease home audiences with their gym-built physiques. As a result, your wrist will be getting an ambitious workout!
