Simply put Emerald City (2017) is a modern reimagining of the classic Wizard of Oz story. But it's so much more than that. A tornado transports Dorothy Gale (Adria Arjona) from Kansas all the way to Oz which sets in motion a prophecy about an ominous event known only as The Beast Forever. The Wizard is fearful of the prophecy and Dorothy who goes on a quest to talk to the Wizard. The Emerald City sure does shine when Oliver Jackson-Cohen is shirtless on the beach. Wowwie, who needs the Wizard when you have such amazing magic on screen?
