Marco Leonardi is of Italian heritage and was born in Australia, but he is fluent in four different languages so he is able to take roles in movies shot all over the world. He has starred in two of the largest grossing foreign language films of all time with Like Water for Chocolate (1992) and Cinema Paradiso (1998).
