Marjoe Gortner was a child evangelist who began giving sermons at the age of four. He was crowned the “World’s Youngest Ordained Minster” and soon was drawing huge crowds, performing faith healings and being called the “Miracle Child.” In his teen years he became disillusioned with the church. He joined a few rock bands then eventually made his way to Hollywood and started acting. He has appeared in a number of popular TV shows and movies.
