Maron (2013-2016)

IFC's Maron chronicles self-aware stand-up Marc Maron who's compulsive, angry, destructive tendencies coupled with a salacious hunger for coke and booze, led to two divorces and a career derailment before a podcast hosted in his garage and a newfound commitment to sobriety revived him. Maron made headlines for episode 613 of his real-life podcast which featured none other than sitting President Barack Obama, who shocked Maron not only by agreeing to be interviewed for his show, but by coming to his garage to record it. His IFC program hasn't been quite as historic, but it has attracted a ton of big name guests, while giving Maron his first starring role. In his typical neurotic fashion, episode nine of season three showcases an underwear-clad Marc talking to his aloof doctor and all but feeding him the need for his own MRI so he can confirm his worst fears. For all his insecurities however, Maron doesn't seem nervous appearing in nothing but his boxers for this funny scene.
