2024's Mean Girls created some confusion for theatergoers, so we'll spell it out right here: Mean Girls 2024 is a movie adaptation of the Broadway Mean Girls musical, which was based on the 2004 Mean Girls movie. Got it? Angourie Rice takes on Lindsay Lohan's role of high school newbie Cady while Reneé Rapp plays Regina George - the queen bee of the school's most popular group of girls, called the Plastics. You know the story like you know the back of your dick - Regina recruits Cady to be one of the Plastics, but when Cady realizes that Regina is a backstabbing friend, she deploys a number of tricks to take over Regina's role as queen of the Plastics. Meanwhile the "Burn Book" that Regina and the Plastics use to document their cruelest thoughts about their classmates leaks, creating utter chaos throughout the school. So, why are we here? Brian Altemus (who we best know for portraying sixteen-year-old Theo James in The Time Traveler's Wife. He blows himself in a gay scene. Check it out!) briefly flaunts his gorgeous body in Mean Girls while making out with Regina George in the custodian closet.
