Mentiras, The Series (2025)

Mentiras, The Series is a jukebox musical on Amazon Prime that tells the story of four women who discover that they all dated the same man while attending his funeral. His name is Emmanuel, and he was a major player. Since Emmanuel died under mysterious circumstances, the four women realize that they could be suspects in his death. What's a girl to do? Each one does a musical number summing up her relationship with Emmanuel and the ensuing heartbreak! Emmanuel is played by cutie Luis Gerardo Méndez, who starred in the first-ever Spanish-language Netflix series, Club de Cuervos, where he loved showing off his booty. The same can't be said for his appearance in Mentiras, but he does deliver one hell of a Risky Business impersonation, looking damn hot in his white button up shirt and tighty-whities. You can't spell Emmanuel without Man!
