Michael St. Michaels is no saint. The Poughkeepsie native used to be a globe-trotting hairdresser to the rich and infamous. Mike’s clipping skills brought him to Hollywood where he caught the acting bug. After making his boob tube debut in the TV movie The Funnier Side of Eastern Canada (1974), Michael popped up on an episode of Diff’rent Strokes (1983). Yet for the most part, the offbeat performer appeared in short films (BFF Girls, Brown Bag, Clarence, Jump, Making It, Shit Show, Taxi Dancer, They Came Prepared, The Video Dead). Perhaps it was his way of proving size doesn’t matter. Of course, that doesn’t mean Mr. St. Michaels (who is sometimes credited as Michael Rappaport) hasn’t made his fair share of feature-length films. Thanks to bit parts, he can be seen in the comedies Ninja Academy (1989), Freshwater (2016), Seven Stages to Achieve Eternal Bliss (2018), Cool as Hell 2 (2019), Fingers (2019), and Alex & Emma (2003) starring Kate Hudson and Luke Wilson. Mike really showed off his sense of humor (as well as his bare body) in the humorous horror film The Greasy Strangler (2016). The indie flick features Elizabeth De Razzo, Sky Elobar, and Michael’s overwhelming undies. If that’s not revealing enough, the nude dude exposes his naked chest, bare butt, and prosthetic cock and balls! The special effects department was working overtime since its star is usually sheathed in fake flesh. Even so, that didn’t stop the Knoxville Horror Film Festival from giving Michael their Best Actor award!
