The undisputed king of cringe, Nathan Fielder has made a cottage industry out of pushing audiences to the limits of uncomfortableness. His Comedy Central series Nathan For You (2013-2017) brought his unique brand of humor to a broad audience while also carrying the street cred lent him by his involvement with kings of alt comedy Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim.
Fielder's second venture as a television leading man found him creating a series called The Rehearsal on HBO. The series was ostensibly designed to help people prepare for big moments in their lives by letting them rehearse the moments over and over. The show eventually devolved into Fielder's quest to figure out why he couldn't make his first marriage—which remains intentionally shrouded in mystery—work.
We hardly expected Fielder's third time leading a series, with 2023's The Curse, to feature his nude debut—but not really, because nothing's ever really for real with Nathan. A subplot of the first episode of the Showtime series, co-starring Oscar winning actress Emma Stone, revolves around Nathan's micropenis. It's a prosthetic, but... are we sure it's a prosthetic. Fielder just keeps us guessing!
