It’s impossible to mention the gay art scene in the 1970’s without thinking of Peter Berlin (real name Armin Hagen Freiherr von Hoyningen-Huene) and his epic cock. The talented artist explored sexuality through his photography and later movies, and thankfully used his sexy self as a model. Touching on everything from iconic imagery to fetishes such as leather and bondage, Berlin was in with the who’s who of the gay crowd, and even rubbed elbows with Andy Warhol and Robert Mapplethorpe.
