Promised Land (1987)

Jason Gedrick and Kiefer Sutherland are normal guys who take different paths after graduating from high school in Promised Land (1987). Local hero Jason becomes a small-town cop, while nerdy Kiefer becomes a troubled drifter. Great expectations have turned into harsh reality for this dashing duo. They're searching for the American dream, but Keifer is pretty satisfied just delivering his American cream to a pink-haired Meg Ryan. And we get our own satisfaction 22-minutes in when Mr. Sutherland gives up a shot of his south lands while getting out of bed. Welcome to the Promised Land!
