Rap Sh!t (2022-2023)

Insecure creator Issa Rae is back on HBO Max with her latest series Rap Sh!t, which debuted on the streaming service in the summer of 2022! Rae stays mostly behind the camera this time around, introducing us to a whole new lineup of talented black actors and actresses in this story of two childhood friends trying to break into the music industry in Miami! Shawna (Aida Osman) is working at a hotel to make ends meet while single mother Mia (KaMillion) keeps food on her table through sex work! Fed up with how stagnant their lives have become, the two former friends reunite for a hail mary pass that could see them finally realizing their lifelong dream of becoming rap artists! Sadly, most of the first season focused on female nudity, but we finally got what we desired in episode six when Daniel Augustin—who co-stars as Maurice, one of Shawna's friends from work—finally takes the plunge and gets down to getting down with her! We get a couple of nice looks at Daniel's delicious derriere when he drops his robe and joins her in the shower! Now that's the kind of Sh!t we love to see!
