Robert Goulet is an absolute icon. He hailed from Lawrence, Massachusetts, and was born into a French-Canadian family in America. He began singing when he was just a little boy who went to church and his father loved his son's voice so much that on his death bed he told his young son that his voice was a gift from heaven and that he should sing for a living. That's exactly what Robert did! He was only 13 when his father had passed away and he moved to Edmonton, Canada, a year after that where he won a singing scholarship to the Royal Conservatory of Music. He studied singing and began acting in musicals including in the 1960 movie adaptation of Camelot where he played Lancelot. He received a Tony award in 1968 for his work in Happy Time and continued to show up in movies and release albums for years. He has starred in Scrooged, Beetlejuice, The Naked Gun 2 1/2: The Smell of Fear, Fantasy Island, Murder, She Wrote, Mr. Wrong, The Last Producer, G-Men from Hell, and the cartoon Recess where he offered his voice to play Mikey Blumberg. He played Dawson in the movie Underground where he showed up shirtless in one scene that showed his hot 70s chest fuzz. Look at that retro fur!
