Roman Empire (2016-2019)

The Netflix original series Roman Empire: Reign of Blood delivers on its promise for violence, but thankfully also shuffles in some man meat of historic proportions! Airing for three seasons starting in 2016, this unique mixture of a documentary with sex and violence filled reenactments looked at three separate periods of Roman history. The first season was all about Emperor Commodus (Aaron Jakubenko) failing to live up to his dad Marcus Aurelius' (John Bach) legacy. The second season was the famous story of Julius Caesar (Ditch Davey) and his backstabbing buddy Brutus (Ben Black), while season three was the funnest one since it was all about the infamous kinky hornball Caligula (Ido Drent). History buffs will know that Commodus' brief rule of Rome contributed greatly to its demise, as the vain youth favored a lavish lifestyle over the responsibilities he took on as ruler after the passing of his father Marcus Aurelius in 180. He might not have been the best ruler, but the sexy Aaron Jakubenko's take on Commodus turned Mr. Man into a drooler! Aaron will make you Jak off when you see his shirtless bod in multiple scenes! Ido Drent shows his six pack a ton as well, just in some kinkier scenes as Caligula. But if you want to sit back and imagine the threesome of your historical dreams, take a look at Ditch Davey and Tim Carlsen each lying in bed without their shirts on. Ditch is the Caesar whose salad we'd like to toss, and Tim is the Mark Antony we'd cosplay as Cleopatra for. Is it ambitious for Mr. Man to imagine the honor of being squeezed into a manwich with those two Roman besties? We'd happily spending all day giving dome to the hotties of Rome! Not that we hated the men from other shows, but that we loved the ones from Roman Empire more!
