Growing up as the son of Hollywood legends Jason Robards and Lauren Bacall couldn't have been easy for Sam Robards, but he managed to forge a path in Hollywood that may not have led to superstardom, but certainly saw him working steadily for several decades. Sam has worked with some of the biggest directors in the business like Clint Eastwood (Bird), Brian De Palma (Casualties of War), Robert Altman (Ready to Wear), and Steven Spielberg (A.I.), carving out a nice niche for himself as a respected character actor. Sam's breakout role came opposite Kevin Costner and Judd Nelson in the coming of age flick Fandango (1985), where he also made his nude debut, flashing his ass from the window of his car alongside Nelson and Chuck Bush!
