Sleepless (2017)

Sometimes we lose sleep (in a good way) while lying in bed fantasizing about dreamy Jamie Foxx in Sleepless (2017), not to be confused with the Tom Hanks vehicle Sleepless in Seattle (1993). No, this American action thriller is actually a remake of the 2011 French film Nuit Blanche (meaning “Sleepless Night”) starring Tomer Sisley, Adel Bencherif, and Julien Boisselier. Ooh la la! Despite having the foxy Mr. Foxx and dashing Dermot Mulroney in the cast, the US movie barely made a profit at the box office. But that doesn’t mean you won’t profit by taking a look at the skin in this flick. Under the direction of Baran Odar, Jamie plays a shady cop named Vincent Downs. While working at the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, he and his partner Sean Cass (Tip “T.I.” Harris) help themselves to a shipment of cocaine earmarked for mobster Rob Novak (Mulroney). In retaliation, Rob’s thugs kidnap Vincent’s 16-year-old son. If that’s not bad enough, Internal Affairs investigators Jennifer Bryant (Michelle Monaghan) and Doug Dennison (David Harbour) are onto the pair of corrupt cops. Meanwhile, Mr. Man is after Zak (RJ Shearer) since this comely character flashes his flesh! Granted, the blonde hunk doesn’t expose his junk, but he does show off his bare chest. In one scene, the topless actor is strung up by his feet. As he hangs upside down in his boxer shorts, the blood rushes to all of our heads! What can we say? RJ’s suspended position proves he’s literally hung!
