Sonja and the Bull (2012)

The fight for animal rights brings two people together in the Croatian comedy Sonja and the Bull (2012). Ante (Goran Bogdan) is an insurance broker and the son of a bullfighter organizer Stipe (Dejan Acimovi), know for his powers of persuasion. Sonja (Judita Frankovic) is a vegetarian and a passionate animal rights activist chick that finds herself in the center of a storm when she speaks out about bullfighting during a television interview, upsetting the inhabitants of a small community that embraces the brutal sport. Stipe wants to bring his bull in the country for a pre-arranged bullfight, but thanks to Sonja, his prized fighter Garonja is bared from coming into the country. With his livelihood challenged, Stipe makes a bet with his buddies that Sonja won’t have the guts to even get close to the displaced bull. Stipe is so sure of his challenge that he places his own balls on the chopping block as a wager. Enter the smooth talking Ante to help his father win the bet, and win the heart of Sonja.

In a comedic yet sexy scene, Dražen Čuček interrupts a conversation in the kitchen by making his completely nude presence known. Like to grab that bull by his horn!
