The Covid-19 pandemic is nothing to joke about, especially right at the beginning of lockdown, when things were getting super serious and everyone was grabbing toilet paper off the shelves like it was the future currency of the wastelands.  While it is certainly nothing to have a laugh about now, there are kernels of ridiculousness that we all experienced at around the same time that we'll remember most of all in about 10 years time, and for the residents of the Parisian apartment complex on rue de l'Humanité, we get a microcosm of what Paris was like at the beginning of the outbreak in a humorous manner.  While the streets of The City of Lights are empty and some residents began to head out to the country side, seven families in the apartment building decide to ride it out until lockdown is over.  Little do they know, they are going to be Stuck Together in the building for over three months, and the initial "getting to know you" phase of their relationships is going to turn into "at each other's throats" when they all spend too much time in each other's personal spaces!  The cafe owner who is using booze as hand sanitizer, the fitness instructor obsessing over weight gains, his pregnant wife who doesn't want to go to the hospital, and the rich dad who wants to impress his son by becoming his "teacher" of everything, while he doesn't know much of anything. Slice of life comedy during hard times always let's you laugh at the tragedy, except for the hoarding of toilet paper, that was just stupid.  Luckily we get to see daddy François Damiens in his undies for a bit of lockdown sex appeal along the way in this one!
