The Scottish detective television program, Taggart had a surprisingly successful twenty-eight-year run before being given the axe in 2011. The show follows the Maryhill CID as they investigate gruesome murders in Glasgow. Mac McManus stars as Jim Taggart, a hardworking no-nonsense detective whose tagline “There’s Been a Murder” has become subject of much comedic parody in Scotland. Yet, despite it’s long lasting run there is not much nudity to speak of in this procedural drama. John Hannah is the exception, showing off his cute rump roast in a cheeky one-episode cameo. Emphasis on cheeky!
