The Cleaning Lady (2022)

The Cleaning Lady is a Fox crime drama that illustrates the struggles immigrants have navigating a new country. Well... kinda.  Thony De La Rosa, played by Élodie Yung, was a doctor in her native Philippines. Her son gets sick and she discovers that his only hope is to receive a rare treatment that is only available at a hospital in Las Vegas. She risks everything to come to America to save her son, but once here, realizes that abiding by the rules isn't getting her anywhere. Her job as a cleaning lady ain't paying the medical bills. After a chance encounter, she begins working as both a cleaning lady and a doctor for the mob. Thony is extremely driven and finds that making it in the criminal underworld equals stacks of cash. Suddenly she can pay for her son's treatment, but she also must lead a double life which isolates Thony from her family and friends. That's all well and good, but you're wondering if The Cleaning Lady ever gets a little dirty. The answer is yes! Super hottie Lucas Leggio plays a wild barely clothed drunken man at a club. He struggles to stand up while only wearing his boxers. In a fit of drunken stupidity, he hurls a knife at a woman spinning on a wheel. Lucas misses her completely (phew), but the knife goes into another dude's shoulder (ew). Even in this unsexy context, we call still tell that Lucas is a gorg ripped jock, and we want to see more of him in the future! Speaking of cleaning, my keyboard's gonna need some attention in a second!
