The Cowboy Way (1994)

In between the releases of John Schlesinger’s Oscar-winning pic Midnight Cowboy (1969) and Clint Eastwood’s box office hit Space Cowboys (2000), Woody Harrelson and Kiefer Sutherland strapped on some chaps for the crime comedy The Cowboy Way (1994). As lifelong besties and rodeo champs, Pepper Lewis (Harrelson) and Sonny Gilstrap (Sutherland) become ten-gallon hat-wearing fish out of water when they leave their home in New Mexico and head for New York City. The buds are in search of their missing friend Nacho Salazar (Joaquín Martínez) who went to the Big Apple to save his daughter (Cara Buono) since she was being kept in a sweat shop against her will. As these saddle tramps set out to rustle up some justice, they encounter an NYPD Computer Operator (Allison Janney) and Officer Sam “Mad Dog” Shaw (Ernie Hudson). The movie also includes Luis Guzmán, Marg Helgenberger, Dylan McDermott, Travis Tritt, and Mr. Harrelson’s fab flesh! No doubt, Woody will give you wood when he wears nothing but a pair of cowboy boots! As such, we get to see his awesome abs, broad back and round rump! Alas, a cowboy hat is strategically placed in front of his junk. Since the film makes a point to showcase its sexy star’s fit physique, the skintastic actor often flaunts his impeccable pecs and bulging briefs! He looks so good, his near-naked frame is featured on a billboard. Despite the fact that movie critics dissed this Western romp, Mr. Man appreciates the shots of Woody’s bod. Yee haw!
