Clint Eastwood is Jonathan Hemlock, an art history professor who loves to collect some of the rarest and most valuable paintings in the world. But that's an expensive hobby for a college professor. To help finance his hobby he also happened to work as a government assassin for decades, and wasn't afraid to swipe anything cool he came across while doing his work. Directed by Eastwood himself, The Eiger Sanction (1975) follows Hemlock as he is sent on one final "sanctions" or hitman job, to avenge the murder of his old Vietnam War buddy. The agency isn't sure who did the killing, but they know it's someone who is going to be part of a team climbing Mount Eiger in Switzerland. After getting himself into elite climbing shape and Jonathan's job is to join the climbing team, determine who is the Russian double agent that killed his friend, and take them out without being caught. But the hike is deadly enough, which turns the whole affair into a snowbound game of cat and mouse where any wrong step could get him killed. Soon the bodies start piling up, and Hemlock has to determine if he'll have the chance to avenge his buddy's death before the mountain does it for him. Your hands may be double crossing themselves with desire when you get a good look at a young Clint with his shirt off. As the phone rings, Clint wakes up, pulls the covers back and answers it. We get to check out his fine upper body as he talks to the person that called. That's an eye-pleasing look at Clint in The Eiger Sanction!
