You may be filled with desire while watching The Empty Hours (2013). Not to be confused with the British flick The Hours (2002), this Spanish-language pic is set on the desolate coast of Veracruz, Mexico. Here, 17-year-old Sebastián (Kristyan Ferrer) starts to manage a rent-by-the-hour motel owned by his ailing Uncle Gerry (Fermin Martinez). As you can guess, Sebastián soon finds himself in over his head when he’s tasked with doing almost everything to keep the joint afloat. But the teen doesn’t mind all of his duties since he’s lonely and keeping busy helps him pass the time. Eventually, Sebastián notices Miranda (Adriana Paz), a woman in real estate who uses the motel to meet up with her unreliable lover Mario (Sergio Lasgon). Miranda and Sebastián quickly bond. And before you can say “Mrs. Robinson, you’re trying to seduce me,” the two get intimate with each other. Like Bud Cort and Ruth Gordon in Harold and Maude (1971), Gary Grimes and Jennifer O’Neill in Summer of ’42 (1971), and David Kross and Kate Winslet in The Reader (2008), Sebastián is deflowered by Miranda. During the skintastic act, Mr. Ferrer reveals his pecs, pubes and peen! Also known as Las horas muertas, the foreign film features the universal language of love. Under the pen and direction of Aarón Fernández Lesur, the romantic drama also includes Eliseo Lara Martinez who displays his naked T&A during a post-poke chat. No doubt, these dudes will have you putting the “Do Not Disturb” sign on your door!
