The Treacherous (2015)

The benefit of cinema is that it can transcend boundaries. Audiences in one part of the globe can see the rich past or current conditions of another country across the ocean. Of course, it’s even better when Yanks in the States can add foreign assets to their spank banks! Such is the case with South Korea’s The Treacherous (2015), not to be confused with the American movie Treacherous (1994) or the Canadian/German thriller Treacherous Beauties (1994). In this pic (which also goes by the titles Treacherous Subject and Treacherous Retainer), director Min Kyu-Dong explores the carnal reign of former Korean King Yeonsan (Kim Kang-woo). Indeed, the randy ruler decides that all of his subjects exist to personally pleasure him. In one scene, Yeonsan watches two naked beauties (Lim Ji-Yeon and Lee Yoo-Young) wrestle for his amusement. It’s good to be the King — as well as a viewer! This is especially true when the latter lady sits on the King’s face. Yes, there are plenty of sex scenes. In fact, Kim drops his pants to show off his bulge. We also get to glance at his bare booty and naked pecs when he gets his freak on. If that’s not hot enough, the exotic hottie lounges around in front of a group of people while a woman (Cha Ji-Yeon) nurses his wounds. Yet eventually the depraved monarch gets what he deserves. In other words, you live by the flesh sword, you die by the flesh sword. But what a way to go!
