Alison, a thirty-something homemaker (Mary Elizabeth Ellis) is whisked away for a night by her recently divorced,wild-child little sis Ida (Eliza Coupe) who just moved back in with their parents. Meanwhile, another divorced ne'er-do-well, Clark (Kyle Bornheimer) fails to thwart his married best friend Will's (Demetri Martin) persistence that he change out of his sweats and leave his house. To Clark's surprise, Will has gone so far as to hire a stocked limousine driven by a wise-cracking Charlyne Yi. At a wine bar, the sisters meet their male counterparts and quickly find the four of them are long overdue for a night quarter-life debauchery. This leads to, among other misadventures, a late night romp on the beach which showcases Bornheimer's soaking wet torso as he runs shirtless along the coast. We also get a glimpse of deadpan comedian Demetri Martin in his skivies as well. No skinny dipping though, suggesting maybe they aren't throwing all caution to the wind just yet. About 15 minutes prior however, Kyle does shotgun a beer and rip a bong with a shirtless, sexually adventurous Jimmi Simpson. As Kyle contemplates why his wife left him for a lesbian, the conversation shifts to fluidity in male sexuality, prompting Kyle and Jimmi to experement with some man on man smooching. The two girls Jimmi just had a threesome with watch and assess. Jimmi almost shows his buns here as well, but alas, The Last Time You Had Fun (2014) can't quite cut loose when it comes to male nudity.
