The Lovers on the Bridge (1991)

The Lovers on the Bridge is a quintessential French movie about two seemingly disparate lost souls who find in each other a new lease on life. Lisa Life. Great drag name! Anyway, serious stuff. Legendary French actress Juliette Binoche plays a painter living on the streets who is losing her eyesight and Denis Lavant plays a homeless drug addict. They meet on Paris' famed Paris's Pont-Neuf while it is under construction, and the rest is herstory. These two don't just learn from each other, they yearn for each other! In one very sexy scene Denis Lavant and Juliette Binoche run as fast as they can on the beach buck naked with gleeful abandon. It's a touching scene. No, really. At one point Binoche reaches over and grabs a hold of Denis erection, leading him down the beach by his tail. Denis Lavant uses a prosthetic for this scene (that foot-long, rock hard member looked too good to be true!) but we wouldn't kick it out of bed. In a less joyful scene a naked Denis Lavant is unresponsive while on the floor of a group men's shower. Much like that prosthetic cock bouncing around on the beach, life has it's ups and downs.
