The Rig (2023)

The proliferation of oil drilling has driven the creation of dramatic television series set aboard an oil rig like the early 2023 Amazon Prime Original Series The Rig! The series opens with a dramatic undersea occurrence, the reverberations of which set in motion the events of the film. A quirky team of oil drillers is working on a rig nearby this undersea eruption off the coast of Scotland, including seasoned vet Magnus MacMillan (Iain Glen), cocky hot shot Fulmer Hamilton (Martin Compston), and reserved scientist Rose Mason (Schitt's Creek's Emily Hampshire). When dense fog prevents a helicopter—meant to bring in a new team and shuttle home this team—from reaching them, this crew had better band together quickly if they're going to survive. In addition to some steamy shirtless action from Emun Elliott, Nikhil Parmar, and Martin Compston, the debut episode features the bare buns of Calvin Demba! The Rig will make your pants Big!
